- On SEP 28, 2023 Mayor Nick Stanley stated: I have no business dealings with this group. Nor do I have a financial interest in anything that they do. My business partner Patrick Beachner and I operate Blue Jack Resources. We are a oil and gas and land services company. He is a partner in 1882 Partners, along with my formal business partner Stephen Slaughter. These two entities have no affiliation. And with that no affiliation there is no collusion on my part where I would stand to benefit financially or otherwise in anything that they do.
- Patrick Beachner and Stephen Slaughter are also Mayor Nick Stanley's employer (as per the City of Aledo's own website). Specifically, the Mayor's BIO states that Mayor Nick Stanley works for Fieldstone Solar power Company, LLC. as the vice President of Acquisitions. According to State records. FSP,LLC. is owned by Patrick Beachner and Steven Slaughter. CORRECTION - while reporting this piece we have discovered that the City of Aledo has REMOVED Fieldstone Solar Power Company, LLC. from his BIO.
