EPCL FOIA SEP 28, 2023

  I am profoundly perplexed by this response. How can it be that the expenditure of $175,000 for the EPCL (East Parker County Library) was included in the budget that was approved during the meeting last week, and yet, there exist absolutely no records pertaining to any discussions regarding the library?

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that Mayor Nick Stanley and City Manager Noah Simon openly acknowledged during the budget meeting that not only had the Library budget been a topic of deliberation for months, but information regarding it had been disseminated throughout the City Council.

At the very least, a "diligent search" should have yielded the signed MOU dated 06JAN2023 and the recorded statements from the meeting held on the 21st of September.

What sense can any of you make of this?
